WECG are an incorporated society, which is now a Registered Charity, CC 59740, for people who wish to help restore the Scientific Reserve in line with its Restoration Plans, and participate in activities related to this aim. A new Constitution and Rules was adopted in November 2021.
We have a Committee elected at the WECG Annual General Meeting in September each year, and a number of people may be co-opted by the Committee to perform additional specific roles, as they arise during any year. The Committee appoint the Chair, Treasurer and Secretary at their first Committee meeting after the AGM.
From 1st July 2023 the Membership the annual membership fee is $25 for each household, and membership will be renewed every year. There is an option for "Friends" to register to receive regular WECG news about our events, but only full financial members may vote on issues and hold office.
