There are still active groups working on Pest Management, Weedbusting, Nursery and Adopt a Plots, if you want to join any email: secretary@waikanaeestuary.org
Our first volunteer planting for the year is scheduled for Saturday 10th May. We will be planting in the area between the nursery track and Takahe Drive, on the estuary side of the main walking track. Please meet at the nursery (Hana Udy Place). Planting will commence at 9.00am, and tools and gloves will be provided. We will finish planting at 10.45am and enjoy a well-earned morning tea. We look forward to your support. Feel free to bring a friend, and encourage others to join us.
